Cancellation and Refund Policy

1.Cancellation Policy

1.1 You may cancel your booking with us any time before the schedule date and time of your pick-up by calling us on our 24x7 Customer Care helpline number or Cancelling the booking in the application. If you cancel when the driver and/or car details provided you will be charged a cancellation fee.

1.2 No cancellation fee shall be payable unless EVZIP confirms the cancellation of your ride in accordance with the terms of use and Cancellation and refund policy.

1.3 Cancellation fees :

1.3.1 A booking request can be cancelled free of charge where driver or car details are not provided.

1.3.2 If a booking request is cancelled for any reason whatsoever when the driver and/or car details provided, you'll be charged a cancellation fee as forfeiture from the advance amount in your wallet for the booking.

1.3.3 Drivers may also cancel a ride request if they are at the pickup Location (Metro Stations) and wait for three minutes, if you have given incorrect pickup location information, or if your phone, cell number, or email address is unreachable for any reason. A cancellation cost of up to Rs. 50 per cancellation may be assessed, along with a forfeiture of the advance amount in your wallet.

1.3.4 If the cancellation is caused by circumstances beyond our control that humans, even with the best of intentions, are unable to prevent—such as epidemics, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fire, strikes, lockouts, or other industrial disturbances—or by war, terrorist attacks, riots, or other civil disturbances—or by other similar forces—or by force majeure that results in the closure of roads—EVZIP will, at its sole discretion, issue a voucher good for the full advance amount that you paid for the reservation.

2.Refund Policy

2.1 As per the cancellation and refund policy, the refund will be processed. It may take 7 to 10 business days for the refund to reflect into your wallet or bank account linked to EVZIP account. In case wrong or incorrect banking details/ account details provided by you, EVZIP shall not be responsible for any loss and/or damages whatsoever.

2.2 You shall be entitled for the vouchers without expiry to use in future in EVZIP’s sole discretion
in the following cases:

2.2.1 Where the allocated driver cancels the ride without assigning any valid and reasonable reason at the last hour and EVZIP fails to arrange another ride in a reasonable time you shall not be charged for the booking.

2.2.2 Where the car breaks down during the trip and EVZIP driver does not rectify it within reasonable time, you shall be provided a discount voucher valid to use during your next trip.

2.2.3 In case, cancellation is due to external factors which human being by the exercise of reasonable diligence cannot avoid such as epidemic, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fire, strikes, lockouts or other industrial disturbances; war, terrorist acts, riot, or other civil disturbance; epidemics; or other similar forces or due to force majeure which lead to the roads closed, you shall not be charged for the booking.

2.2.4 Where you want to increase/decrease trip distance, you shall update the next drop location in the EVZIP application and if seats are available then you will receive the confirmation on the EVZIP application, you shall be charged for the excess trip distance as per company policies and applicable rate chart.

2.3 EVZIP shall not be responsible to refund and/or to provide voucher in any case where you give any money or goods to the Driver except as mentioned in the invoice. EVZIP shall not be liable to pay any damages, if any, arises from any loss accrued to you.

2.4 EVZIP shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage happened during the ride on account of the driver. However, EVZIP shall assist you in all the reasonable manner to recover your loss or damage.

2.5 EVZIP reserves the right to withhold the complete wallet amount paid by you on account of any misbehaviour or misconduct viz. physically, orally or mentally with the driver. EVZIP also reserves the right jointly and/or severally with the driver to take any action against you as available as per the law applicable at the time of the incident.
